About ryders creek

The property is located in the gorgeous ever verdant Wattamolla Valley, a smaller extension of the world famous Kangaroo Valley.

Ryders makes a perfect base for exploring the surrounding region, situated as it is between the highands and the coast. A seven minute drive to Kangaroo Valley' Village and no more than 15 minutes to the award winning township of Berry, with the South Coast's beautiful beaches and the Southern Highlands region all within easy reach. Refer to our "Things To Do" pages for some of our favourite recommendations which are sure to please.

Ryders is on the site of the old [    ] Dairy (the dairy buildings are a visual highlight on the farm, currently used as a shed and crying out for further sensitive development when possible).

Cattle have found a home at Ryders for more than a century and now is no different. We run a smallish herd of black Angus cattle who feast on grass which you can almost see growing most months of the year. You may also see some of the remarkable looking Highland "Kuhs" (a Scottish breed of long horned, and haired highland cow) on the property from time to time. They used to live at Ryders and belong to the former owners, now neighbours, but they and we like to see them still spending time at their old stomping ground.

We also have adorable Suffolk sheep, fresh eggs from our chooks Henny and Penny and a resident goose which we call "goosie".
